Sledding in Big CottonWood Canyon

After church this afternoon we went sledding with some friends up Big Cottonwood Canyon. I thought the boys might be a little scared considering we have to "force" them to sled down the hill in the backyard, but they had a blast. After each time down the hill Bristol would say, "more, more!" and Hudson would say, "This is Cool"!

California

The boys and I spent the last week and a half in Southern California visiting our families. We picked up Brian from LAX a few days ago and he joined us for some fun! Our trip entailed a lot of family time,a baby shower, a couple of trips to the beach, the aquarium, the Zoo, stay overnight in wine country with no kids! and Brian got in a round of golf. On the way back to Utah we stopped in Vegas and stayed at Circus Circus where we watched a couple Circus acts and played some games. We had a great time...but we never seem to be able to see everyone we want to see. Thanks to our families for accommodating us and our wild bunch!! These are some random pictures from the trip. The first is Bristol swinging on the beach in Oceanside. Sunset at Oceanside
Angela's Baby Shower!

My Dad took us to see his new airplane, here we are at the Redlands Airport.

It was a wonderful trip, but it sure does feel good to be home!

Los Angeles Zoo

We went to the Los Angeles Zoo with Danica and the girls, Grandma Ness, Angela, and Nanna and Papa Vit. It is always so fun getting the cousins together. Hudson and Melanie loved playing and running together! The kids really enjoyed watching the gorillas....
Then they decided to walk like gorillas. It was hard to get them to walk like kids again!

Hudson and Melanie did a lot of snuggling back at the Ness house!

Sea Life Aquarium at Lego Land

We went to the Sea Life Aquarium last week in San Diego. The boys had a great time exploring and playing!

Newport Beach In Southern California

The boys and I went to Newport Beach last week with my Dad and Step mom. The boys loved chasing the waves, seagulls and digging in the sand. It was about 70 degrees, which made for a great day, but a little cold to go swimming!

Exciting Times

Our entire house has been a little under the weather for the past couple of weeks. Everyone is feeling much better and the boys and I were ready to head out and enjoy the sunshine. I don't think the temperature got past 40 degrees today, but it amazing how warm that can feel when the sun is shining! This afternoon we spent some time at the Tracy Aviary and then exploring Liberty Park.
Last week we went to a Family Fun center that put in a Jungle climbing area. I love that I have an excuse to climb and play. I think there may be a day when it is not so fun having your mom crawling and jumping with you, so I'm going to enjoy every minute I get to hang out with these little guys!

While Bristol takes his afternoon nap we usually try to do something special with Hudson. This particular day Brian was working on the Expedition, changing transmission fluid, and working on the brakes....while Hudson and I went for a walk, and played outside.

This is about all of the snow left in the backyard, but why not shovel it? And you can never be too careful, so he was wearing saftey glasses and his helmet.
Next project...stiring the grain? Not sure why, but then again why not?

I love that our days are full of fun and playing! I am so thankful to have a husband that works so hard to take care of us and that I am able to stay home and raise our boys!
