Building and Playing

Brian has been working on building some Adirondack chairs for the front porch. While taking a break from that project he has also been doing some word working with the boys. They have built wooden buses, and Bristol helped build this airplane. He has been so proud of it...and even sleeps with it =)
I have to laugh a little thinking of the differences between men and women. Brian is making wood toys with the kids...and I make a baby sling. Ha...Ha...Hudson is still loving to play animal rescue center...much Brian's dismay. Maybe we will have to encourage animal safari or hunting guide....=)

And just a fun picture of Bella

Eklutna Lake

Well, Melanie and Samantha are really good at taking pictures! None from my little flock will pose for a picture=)

Cousins

I love how all of the cousins are best friends!

 Dance party

The boys really enjoyed spending time with Uncle Geoff. I think this picture of Geoff and Bristol is so cute!

Reindeer Farm with McMillens

We went to the reindeer fram in Palmer one of the days the McMillens were here and were lucky enough to get to spend some time with this 2 week old reindeer...too cute!

All of us "kissed" the moose, here is Danica....

They give you a banana to put in your mouth and the moose comes up and takes it...Geoff got slimed...the moose didn't look too happy about it either. This picture cracks me up!

Portage Lake

We picked up the McMillens from the airport and headed straight for Portage Glacier. They are troopers! After traveling since early that morning, they were still game! We had to bring both our cars, we have outgrown all being able to fit in the Suburban! Here was a stop along the Turnagain Arm.

The McMillen's on Portage Lake...we set out to walk to the glacier, but didn't quite make it all the way there...but still had fun taking in the views and having a snow ball fight!

After hiking around the lake we continued to Whittier. The 2 mile long tunnel is always a favorite for the kids....We thought we would have some yummy fish and chips in town, but come to find out the town doesn't open for business until about May 15th....that is when the first cruise ship is due to pull in. So, we walked around and threw rocks into the water instead=)

Sledding in Hatcher's Pass with the McMillens

Brian's sister and family came to visit us this month. It is always such a blast to get together with them! These are some pictures from sledding in Hatcher's Pass.
 Brian and Danica

These last two pictures were taken from back at the house. I think we had the last days of winter while they were here...which was awesome because the girls wanted to play in the snow...they don't get much of it in San Diego=)
