Brian and I have been wanting to go sailing since we moved to Washington, however do not have the necessary skills to do so. Lucky for us Brian's parents are in town and his Dad is an avid sailor. So, with the kids at home with Grandma, we took RJ to Boston Harbor and rented a sailboat. We had a great time out on the water!

He's Gone Mobile
Bristol is starting to move! When it came to Hudson starting to crawl and get mobile, we just couldn't wait for that to happen. However, now with the second child and a little more parenting knowledge under our belts, I think we would be perfectly happy having Bristol just hanging out a little while longer. Putting the thought of two boys romping around aside...yeah Bristol!! We are proud of you!
Hudson has been putting our shoes on lately and running around.

Jump Rope
Brian was looking for some cardio to do inside on a rainy day, and after putting down the jump rope, Hudson thought he would give it a try.

Rainy Days
The weather sure has held out awhile for us, and we loved every sunny minute of it! We have changed gears here in Washington and the forecast calls for rain for the next four days or so. Brian and I have worked hard to keep the boys busy...this includes me taking Hudson to the park during a light rain in his rain coat and boots to go on the swings. I don't think he even noticed the rain. Here are some pictures of indoor activities. We took the boys to the Olympia Flight Museum yesterday. Hudson did a lot of pointing and happy dancing.

Chance of Rain
Although the forecast called for an 80% chance of rain today, Brian and I were fooled by the beautiful blue sky this morning. We loaded up the bikes, kids, and dog and headed to the Chehalis Trial. About 2 miles in it started sprinkling...followed by a complete down pour! The kids were kept nice and dry in the trailer, however Brian and I were another story. By the time we got back to the car we were both soaked to the bone. Besides the rain, the trail provided some wonderful fall colors.
