Big Kids

We have all been enjoying pony rides around the neighborhood. Even Brian and Hudson have been galloping down the horse paths around the house. She seems to have been a great choice for the family! I am also so excited for her to have her baby. Not too sure when that will happen, she has definitely gotten bigger over the past month!
While we were driving home from church last night Hudson announced that he is going to be a man soon. And this morning at breakfast he was rubbing his cheek and said, "I have some whiskers here"....um...what is going on? Here he is helping Daddy work on the car. Hudson has named Daddy "The Great Fixer Man", which I think is pretty accurate =)

Happenings

My sister came out this week to spend some time with us and we had a great time! She was also a huge help! The boys really enjoyed spending time with their Aunt Angie, and Hudson was very excited about the baby Rylan in her tummy! The pony cart arrived while Angie was here and we thought we might have a chance of putting it together.....but no...I called our neighbor Bill and he put the cart together!

completed pony cart...I will have to find someone to get a picture of me driving the cart. I couldn't figure out how to attach the pony to the cart while Angie was here, so I had to get a pony cart lesson. The boys are really enjoying our rides!
Bristol and Bailey wrestling. I think she is the most patient dog there is.

Big Boy Bed

Bristol has graduated to a big boy bed! He is very excited, and Hudson is so excited for him! He slept in it last night and for his nap today, so it was a pretty easy transition!

We went to the Children's Museum with the Epps' a couple of days ago. Here are the boys exploring a helicopter.

Rockets and Ponies

We went to a local soccer field today and launched a rocket a few times. The boys really enjoyed pushing the launch button and watching the rocket fly into the air.

Hudson loved running to get the rocket after it floated to the ground.

Later this afternoon we loaded up Bristol into the jogging stroller and Hudson onto the pony and went for a walk.

Happy Resurrection Day!

We had a wonderful day today starting with an awesome Easter service at church, lunch with friends, dying Easter eggs, Easter egg hunt, Egg Roll, Pony Rides, and cow castration....that's right...what gathering would be complete without the castrating of a calf... Hunting for Eggs

The cow castration, poor cow is a little sore but apparently he will be a little tastier in a year!

The boys got bubble makers which were a pretty big hit!

Pony Rides

Hudson and our neighbor Hailey taking a walk with the new pony. Grooming Shooburt, (pony's possible new name, Hudson keeps calling her that)
Bristol was napping while we were riding and playing with the pony, so we might have to get her out later for another round!

Blossom

We got the boys an 8 year old mini mare for Easter. She is pregnant, I think, so we could have two minis in a few months! I ordered a cart and it should be here in a couple of weeks, so we will be able to go on cart rides, and pony rides. The boys were pretty excited! I sold Tess, the biting, kicking, bucking me off horse...not a bad trade..I think we may be in the pony years, soon to be followed by the horse years once again.
